Doug Kearney has been the interim pastor at Epiphany since September of 2016. He has served eleven interims in North Carolina in Lutheran, Moravian, and Episcopal congregations. His home base is in Asheville, but commutes from Salisbury where his wife, Beth, is on the NC Synod bishop’s staff. They have two married children, Kat and Micah, and two grandchildren. Mickey Miller, Office Manager MickeyMiller

Mickey Miller has worked at the Lutheran Church of the Epiphany since 2005. She efficiently and seamlessly helps Epiphany run smoothly. She also serves as the Financial Secretary and bookkeeper. Originally from San Diego. She moved to Kernersville in 1991. She loves reading, spending with family and friends. She has three sons, one daughter, and the best grandson in the world. Additionally, she is a fabulous cook. Epiphany is blessed that she shares her many gifts and talents with us. Email Mickey

 

Patryck Nuss, Director of Music/OrganistPatryck170H

Patryck joined the church staff in October 2015 as Organist and Director of Music. He came to us from Christ Lutheran (ELCA) in Greensboro, and has also served Lutheran-Missouri Synod and United Methodist congregations in Greensboro.  Patryck’s primary responsibilities at Epiphany include playing the organ for the Sunday liturgy and directing the vocal and handbell choirs.  He lives in Kernersville and is an avid traveler and rugby fan.  If you would like to be involved in the music ministries at Epiphany, or are interested in more information on our organ, please contact Patryck: Email Patryck

 

Lisa Nichols, Epiphany Early Childhood DirectorLisa Nichols

Lisa has over 30 years of experience in early childhood education as a teacher, assistant director and director. She is a graduate of UNC-Greensboro with a degree in Human Development. Lisa joined the Epiphany staff in 2012 and brings wealth of knowledge and understanding of our youngest generation. Lisa and her husband live in Kernersville with their sweet dogs. In Lisa’s spare time, she enjoys tending to her plants and garden. Email Lisa

 

Charlotte Disher, Youth and Family Ministry Coordinator

Charlotte joined the Epiphany staff on Easter Monday 2017. She has over ten years of experience in youth and family ministry and is a Certified Director of Christian Education with a Master of Divinity from Wake Forest University. Charlotte has been busy reaching out to all the young people, from the smallest to the tallest, at Epiphany and getting to know their families as well. There is a deep sense of enthusiasm for youth and family ministry here and Charlotte looks forward to growing her discipleship to young Christians within this fertile environment. She lives just down the road in Winston-Salem and is an aquatic enthusiast, who also loves to read and travel. Email Charlotte
